Almost every sports bar is really a men’s sports bar. Walk in and men’s basketball or men’s football or men’s baseball is playing on the main TVs. Maybe, if you’re lucky and it’s the championships, two college women’s basketball teams will be battling on a small, silent TV in a corner. If the Olympics are on, you might see a woman on skates or skis or a track. But usually, it’s all men.

“40% of athletes are women,” said Jenny Nguyen, “96% of all athletes on TV are men.”
